“The glamorous swirl of legendary publications WWD and W was really my career bootcamp as a writer and editor. I graduated from there to work as a senior editor at Glamour and InStyle.
I later took my toolbox to the ad world, joining a WPP-owned company as a senior creative strategist and editorial director, advising C-suite executives on how to communicate the magic of their brands to consumers. Some of my favorite clients included global companies Tiffany & Co., All Nippon Airways (ANA), Visa, Bertolli and Mattel. Anytime there is a chance to travel to Japan I pack my bags and go.”

“I’m a visual storyteller and creative director. Early on, my passion for music led me to photograph and film rockstars including Foo Fighters, Wilco, John Mayer, and Elliot Smith.
That world soon broadened to include Hollywood subjects like Tilda Swinton, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Luke Wilson, Elijah Wood, Olivia Wilde and Eddie Redmayne. My first time directing was straight into the deep end with Spike Lee as my subject. I’ve also photographed legendary CEOs Ted Turner, Diane von Furstenberg and Marcelo Claure for magazines and book covers. I still obsess over guitar picks and my favorites are Dunlop Tortex red.”
